NOTICE INVITING TENDER 1.
Sealed tenders as per item rate based on market rate system District (Bi-Annual
period 15 January, 2022 to 30th June, 2022 District Sheikhupura are invited from the approved contractors of Irrigation Department who have got their names enlisted renewed in appropriate category for the current financial year 2021-22 on e
procurement 2. Tender on Form I.B 389 will be received by the Tender Opening Committee on
29-04-2022 at 12.00 P.M in the office of the undersigned under the chairmanship of Superintending Engineer Lahore Drainage Circle, Lahore. The tenders will be opened at 12:30 P.M on the same day in presence of the contractors or their authorized
representative who cares to remain present. 3. The blank Tender forms can be purchased from the office of the Executive Engineer,
Rachna Drainage Division, Sheikhupura immediately after advertisement at the nonrefundable cost mentioned against the work within office hours up to 28-04-2022. No tender form shall be sold on date of receipt of tenders. No tender except those
purchased from this office will be entertained / accepted. 4. The contractors/ firms who desire to obtain tender forms shall have to furnish the
original documents to the Executive Engineer, Rachna Drainage Division, Sheikhupura regarding enlistment / renewal of their names with Irrigation Department and Pakistan Engineering Counsel for the current financial year 2021-22, Govt. receipts of payment of professional tax, enlistment / renewal fees, etc., or any other documents to his entire satisfaction along with copies of all documents duly attested by gazetted Officer. The Executive Engineer/ Head Clerk, Rachna Drainage Division,
Sheikhupura shall issue the tender form after verification of all documents. 5. The tenders must be delivered in person or through their authorized agents by
intending bidders to the Tender Opening Committee in sealed envelope. No tender shall be accepted / received by post or through any other means or without CDR /
Bank Guarantees. 6. The procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the
acceptance of a bid or proposal, Procuring agency will provide the reasons of
rejection of bids on the request of bidder. 7. Earnest money @ 5% of the estimated amount in the form of CDR / Bank Guarantee
in favour of Executive Engineer, Rachna Drainage Division Sheikhupura from a scheduled bank must accompany the tender, failing which tender will not be
entertained. 8. All the bidders should satisfy themselves about site location, conditions, prevalent at
site and its accessibility because successful bidders will have to mobilize to site of
work immediately after issuance of acceptance letter 9. The successful bidder shall have to executive the agreement with the Executive
Engineer, Rachna Drainage Division Sheikhupura within 07 days of issuance of
acceptance letter 10. The payment will be made to the contractor promptly against the running bill on
satisfactory performance within the time given in the conditions of the contract. 11. No interest shall be paid to the contractor on account of any delay in making
payments by the department for the work done by him. 12. The contractor should quote rate against each item in figures as well as in words
