The Board of Revenue of West Pakistan was constituted by an Ordinance of 1955/1956 which was amended by the West Pakistan Board of Revenue Act, 1957. After the dissolution of West Pakistan Province in 1970, it was renamed as Board of Revenue Punjab.
Currently, the Revenue Department Government of Punjab is seeking the services of Patwari (BPS-09) on a regular basis. This recruitment is being made for Assistant Commissioner’s Offices in Punjab.
